Thane: TMT buses back on road from Tuesday

Thane municipal transport has decided to resume bus services from Tuesday, after analysing in-demand routes. "Nearly 80% of our routes are connected to Thane and Mulund stations which may not work out in the present scenario.
We will assess the feasibility of starting bus services within the city and focus more on resuming trips to Mumbai, Bhiwandi and Navi Mumbai," said Sandeep Malvi, TMT transport manager.
TMT claims to have ferried nearly 3.5 lakh essential staffers for free from places like Mumbai, Badalpur, Palghar and Kalyan since the lockdown.
