‘Help man stranded in Dubai come home’

Udhagamandalam: Nilgiris MP A Raja has shot off a letter to Union external affairs minister Dr S Jaishankar, seeking help to bring an Ooty man, who is stranded in Dubai, back home.
In his letter, Raja said P Surya Prakash, a permanent resident of Ooty, was employed with a restaurant in Dubai and that he was rendered jobless following the Covid-19 outbreak. “He is suffering there without any monetary support and keen to come back to Ooty.”
Raja requested the ministry to make arrangements for Surya Prakash’s return on compassionate grounds.
Raja, who is back in the Nilgiris nearly after three months, is in home quarantine.
