India's
case count jumped by 9,800 cases - for the second day running - to reach 2,36,657. This makes India the sixth worst affected country, just surpassing Italy's numbers. The worst part, however, is that experts at the WHO fear that India could still have an explosion of cases, especially with the country reopening.
A weekend before the first phase of repealing the lockdown, the country's worst hit cities - Mumbai and Delhi - are facing a severe shortage of beds.
