Palakkad district hospital to be Covid-19 special: AK Balan

PALAKKAD: The Minister for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes Welfare AK Balan has said that the Palakkad district hospital will be converted as an exclusive Covid-19 treatment centre as positive cases are on the rise.
Addressing media persons after an all-party meeting, the minister said that the clinical section of the district hospital will be shifted to the co-operative hospital, and the OP section to the Palakkad Government Medical College.
Balan said that more tests will be conducted as the Palakkad government medical college has been equipped with RTPC machine.
