New Delhi: Twitter continued to outrage over the killing of a pregnant elephant in Kerala. While Rahul Gandhi, who is an MP from Kerala, gave it a miss, his cousin and BJP leader Varun Gandhi is very vocal about it.
Rahul Gandhi shares a poetic message on World Environment Day with a photograph of elephants but says nothing about the killing of the elephant.

पल में परलय होएगी, बहुरि करेगो कब।” – संत कबीर#WorldEnvironmentDay pic.twitter.com/msPIluausf— Rahul Gandhi (@RahulGandhi) June 5, 2020
In contrast, BJP leader Varun Gandhi waxes philosophicak about the right to life, but not only for humans.
Cruelty to animals is not about animals, it is about the powerful victimising the weak. All life is connected. An elephant’s life or a cow’s life is of the same value karmically as any human: those who don’t see this don’t understand God.

And Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar doesn’t know his geography of Kerala very well…
Sir, it happened in Palakkad, not Malappuram. You are Minister of Information, not disinformation https://t.co/uwcXvAfM2Y

Make No Mistake, the #COVID crisis is REAL and ALL governments of BLUFF & BLUSTER will be thoroughly exposed.
Unfortunately it is the people, especially those at the bottom of the pyramid, who will end up paying the heaviest price of this impending #catastrophe
