Bhumi Pednekar endorses anti-spitting campaign in fight against COVID-19, says 'corona spreads even by spitting'

Bhumi Pednekar has always been very vocal on social issues and has evidently been using her social media to spread awareness about the novel coronavirus. Now, the 'Toilet : Ek Prem Katha' actress is urging the nation to fight the COVID-19 spread through an anti-spitting campaign. In a recent interaction, Bhumi stated, 'We have to defeat coronavirus and everyone has to join hands. Leave the habit of spitting. We have to save the country. Currently, our country is under the threat of corona and the fatal disease spreads even by spitting.' Earlier, the actress came forward to spread awareness about nature conservation which quickly saw the support of many B-Town actors.
