The Rajasthan government has once again taken a big decision regarding the distribution of ration from fair price shops. Under this, the ration will now be distributed to the beneficiaries of the National Food Security Scheme in Rajasthan from the fair price shops only after biometric verification from the POS machine. All transactions of ration distribution will be done after biometric verification by the posing machine except for the fair price shops operating offline.
The Minister of Food and Civil Supplies, Ramesh Chand Meena, on Thursday, informed that in this regard, social distance and frequent hand washing and sanitizing will be necessary to prevent corona disease to start biometric authentication again on the POS machine. During this time, the guidelines issued by the central and state government will have to be completely followed to avoid this disease.
Food and Civil Supplies Minister Ramesh Chand Meena told that the fair price shopkeeper will have to sanitize well before starting the pos machine daily. Only after this, the beneficiary's hands will also have to be sanitized before the thumb or fingerprint of the beneficiary is installed on the machine.
