Bulk deals: Capital World Growth & Income Fund buys HDFC Life shares
Mumbai: Among key bulk deals on Thursday, Capital World Growth and Income Fund lapped up shares of HDFC Life Insurance, while Standard Life offloaded its stake. Also, Fidelity Series Emerging Markets Fund pared its holdings in SK Kelkar and Co.
Among the frontline indices, BSE’s 30-share Sensex paused a six-session winning run and closed 0.38 per cent or 128.84 points down at 33,980.70 points. Peer 50-share Nifty dropped 0.32 per cent or 32.45 points to close at 10,029.10 points.

>> Capital World Growth and Income Fund lapped up 11,573,804 shares of HDFC Life Insurance Co at Rs 496.50 a share, while Standard Life offloaded 40,000,000 shares in the company at the same price.
>> Sundaram Finance Holding bought 1,200,821 shares of Wheels India from Titan Europe at Rs 427.60 each.
>> Gulshan Holdings Pvt Ltd sold 23,10,287 shares of Gulshan Polyols at Rs 28.74 a share. Antara India Evergreen Fund lapped up these shares in two tranche: 6,00,000 shares and 17,10,287 shares at Rs 28.70 and 28.75, respectively.
>> Hina Jayesh Parekh and Pivotal Business Managers bought 4,60,000 and 7,05,000 shares of HealthCare Global Enterprise at Rs 117.79 a share and Rs 118.47 a share, respectively.
>> Sylebera Capital Partners Master Fund bought 3,23,832 shares of PVR at Rs 1,027.65 each.
>> BNP Paribas Arbitrage sold 36,84,210 shares of RBL Bank at Rs 125.86 a share.
>> Fidelity Series Emerging Markets Fund sold 8,10,800 shares on SH Kelkar and Co at Rs 65.24 a share.
>> Goldman Sachs International Equity Fund and The Scottish Oriental Smaller Countries Fund sold 4,00,000 and 1,56, 636 shares of S P Apparels at Rs 67.01 and 68.85 respectively, while Kesavapillai Annamalai bought 3,95,718 shares in the company at Rs 67 each.
