Giving information about the decisions taken in the cabinet, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar said that the Central Government has approved the historic amendment in the Essential Commodities Act. This will give a big relief to the farmers, now he is now free from the bondage of the Farmer Producer Market Committee.
With this, the farmer will now be able to sell his produce to the higher-paying person anywhere. He informed that in the cabinet meeting, three important decisions have been taken for the benefit of farmers.
During this time, the Modi government has also approved the renaming of Kolkata Port Trust to Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Trust. During the Corona crisis, the central government is taking all possible steps at its level to provide relief to the public.
