A case has been registered against a woman tahsildar along with a data entry operator for accepting a bribe of Rs.

1.2 lakh on June 4.

Dhaneswar Sahoo, who was working as Data Entry Operator and Tahsildar Balianta has been caught red-handed by the officers of Vigilance Bhubaneswar Division while demanding and accepting bribe of Rs.

1.2 lakh.

The money was being taken for conversion of land in ORL case no.

203/2020.

The bribe amount has been recovered from the possession of the data entry operator.

Further investigation is underway.
