Elaborating on the matter, Gengje said, “The person was found soaked in blood in an unconscious condition in a public toilet in Aundh Gaon. Local citizens called the police control room to alert about the incident. We received a call from the control room and immediately reached the scene. Gaikwad was bleeding from his stomach. We waited for an ambulance for half an hour. Unwilling to waste any more time, we informed our seniors about the situation. There is always a stretcher kept in these mobile vans. We put Gaikwad on the stretcher and took him to the hospital.”
