RANCHI: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) on Thursday released JAC 8th results on its official website. The JAC class 8 result 2020 was announced around 2 pm today. The results have been made available on the official portal of JAC — jac.jharkhand.gov.in.
This year, over five lakh candidates appeared for the JAC 8th class examination. The exam was in January 2020.
Earlier, on June 2 JAC announced the class 9 results which recorded a pass percentage of 97.42. Girls have outshined boys in the JAC 9th result 2020. This year, a total of 4,17,030 lakh students appeared and 4,06,293 have qualified the examination.

Last year, the JAC 8th result was announced on April 16. More than five lakh candidates had appeared for the 8th class examination in 2019. A total of 68,131 students had bagged A+ grade while 1,48,517 had got an A grade. 1,11,338 and 86,333 students had scored B grade and C grade respectively. Over 75,000 students have got D grades which is marginal.
