It added that Australia has supported India in a number of global activities such as the International Solar Alliance, India Pacific Ocean Initiative (IPOI). Australia supports India's permanent membership of an expanded UN Security Council. It also supported India's membership in the Wassenaar Group and Australia Group in the past. According to the ministry, economic relations between India and Australia are growing. The business between the two countries was $ 21 billion in 2018-19. Both countries are determined to increase trade and investment.
