And believe it or not, their choices have more of a trickle-down impact on what you’re wearing than you’d think. Mimi Cuttrell

Based in New York, Mimi Cuttrell has been creating the highly photographed looks of some of your go-to celebrities for a while. She counts Gigi and Bella Hadid, Priyanka Chopra, Kaia Gerber, Ariana Grande and Sara Sampaio as loyal clients. While she gravitates toward dramatic, trend heavy pieces for red carpet events, the 28-year-old likes to favour cool, young brands for celebrities’ off-duty sartorial picks. What’s more, Cuttrell has also collaborated with a couple of brands including her recent denim collaboration with 3x1 that made it to the Hadid sisters’ closet.

Allia al Rufai

Allia al Rufai’s perfectly curated Instagram feed might mislead you into believing she is a travel photographer, but she is the one responsible for Anushka Sharma’s unique style. She brings Sharma's intrinsic nonchalant style to life, while pushing the envelop just enough with a movie star glam. “My sensibility has to match with whoever I work with, that's why I work with very few clients. Somehow with Anushka, things come together very easily because her sense of style and aesthetic is very toned down; to some extent she is a minimalist, “ she told Vogue in an interview. And if that’s not a handful, the half-Indian, half-Arab stylist also launched a production company in Greece called T & A Production & Services with her husband Thodoris Theodoropoulos. 

Shaleena Nathani

The reason you’re always crushing on Deepika Padukone’s outfit is probably because of her stylist Shaleena Nathani. Playing with colours and textures is a given theme in Nathani’s work, as seen throughout Padukone’s red carpet diaries and airport looks. When the occasion warrants, the fitness expert never misses a chance to experiment. Ami Patel

If her celebrity clients are anything to go by, Ami Patel is a fashion force to be reckoned with. Rihanna’s association with her stylist, Fenty collaborator and best friend, Jahleel Weaver is one for the books. He started as a freelance stylist assisting Mel Ottenberg, who has been styling Rihanna since her Pon de Replay days back in 2005. It was in 2011, when they started working together full time. Jahleel Weaver’s styling is anything but safe. With his bold and experimental picks, Weaver has always been smart about selecting ensembles that perfectly reflect her experimental, chameleonic style.

Monica Rose is not only the powerhouse behind the Kardashian-Jenner clan, but is also the stylist to the likes of Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Chrissy Teigen.
