A car belonging to Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was booked for overspeeding in Hyderabad.

The Cyberabad traffic police issued a challan to a car, a white Land Cruiser, in CM KCR's convoy for overspeeding.

On June 1, the vehicle was caught overspeeding between the Children's Park in Hyderabad and the Lepakshi spot on Upper Tankbund and a fine was slapped.

Police records show the vehicle already has three pending fines issued by the Hyderabad traffic police and Suryapet Commissionerate earlier.

The Land Cruiser Prado had unpaid fines amounting to Rs 4,000 pending. According to sources, the fines have now been paid.
