India eases norms for entry from abroad

India has allowed four categories of foreigners in the country. "The Government of India has considered the matter regarding relaxation of visa & travel restrictions for certain categories of foreign nationals who need to come to India. It has been decided to permit certain categories of foreign nationals to come to India," the ministry of home affairs said. The Centre has suspended all international flights in wake of Covid-19 pandemic since March. The flights were bringing back only stranded Indians from abroad.
