Hyderabad lockdown news: Today's updates

As the Central and state governments allow phase-wise relaxation in curbs to get the life up and running again following over two months of lockdown to prevent the spread of Covid-19, we bring you the latest updates from your city.
* At least 150 persons in Hyderabad who died during the lockdown, were given largely secret burial or cremation at an undisclosed location by the municipal authorities as there is growing resistance from local communities and managements of graveyards who fear contracting Covid-19.
* Health authorities urged locals to take all possible precautions while going to markets and shops after 99 new coronavirus cases were recorded on Tuesday, taking the state tally to 2,891 cases. The virus claimed another four lives as the death toll rose to 92. With 70 of the new cases reported from Greater Hyderabad limits, health department officials said that wearing masks but not maintaining social distance defeated the purpose of prevention.
* In its fight to provide more attention to coronavirus patients requiring round-the-clock attention and also creating more bed space, authorities in Telangana have home quarantined 11 Covid-19 patients with mild symptoms in Malakpet on an experimental basis.
* Family members of mild and pre-symptomatic Covid-19 patients will be administered hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) dose as a precaution to test the risk of coronavirus spread.
