THE Asia Awards 2020 announced; eight Indian institutes in top 100

IISc Bangalore (Rank 36), IIT-Ropar (Rank 47), IIT-Indore (Rank 55), IIT-Kharagpur (Rank 59), IIT-Bombay (Rank 69), IIT-Roorkee (Rank 83), Institute of Chemical Technology (Rank 92), and IIT-Delhi (Rank 657).
Times Higher Education Asia Awards 2020 has been announced today, June 3, 2020. Eight institutes from India have been listed in top 100. The Indian institutes in top 100 includes - IISc Bangalore (Rank 36), IIT-Ropar (Rank 47), IIT-Indore (Rank 55), IIT-Kharagpur (Rank 59), IIT-Bombay (Rank 69), IIT-Roorkee (Rank 83), Institute of Chemical Technology (Rank 92), and IIT-Delhi (Rank 657).

The institutions have been awarded in 10 categories including - Outstanding Leadership and Management Team; International Strategy of the Year; Teaching and Learning Strategy of the Year; Outstanding Support for Students; Technological Innovation of the Year; Excellence and Innovation in the Arts; Student Recruitment Campaign of the Year; Workplace of the Year; and two based on data submitted by Asian institutions for THE’s rankings: Regional or Societal Impact Award, and THE DataPoints Merit Award.

THE Awards Asia 2020 attracts nominations from hundreds of widely acknowledged universities that are among the best in the world. These awards recognise and celebrate the transformational work of selected universities across 48 nations of the Asian continent.

Rank 8: Chinese University of Hong Kong
