Coronavirus: Meetings will be held with parents to discuss reopening of schools, minister says

ERODE: Tamil Nadu school education minister K A Sengottaiyan on Wednesday said meetings will be held with parents -- after Class X results are published -- to discuss reopening of schools.
“There’s no plan to reopen the schools before the Class X exams results are out,” the minister said after inaugurating ‘kudimaramathu’ work to revive the Thadapalli canal near Gobichettipalayam.
He said a 16-member team was working on reducing the syllabus as several school working days were lost due to Covid-19.
