Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal appreciated Singh’s efforts during these times of crisis and praised him for his decision. He also said that this step would inspire and encourage others.

According to sources from the party, leader of AAP Sanjay Singh took a major decision of making better use of the 34 air tickets from the MP quota to provide assistance to the migrant labourers stuck in Delhi. He will be making all the travel arrangements for them so that they can safely reach their respective hometowns from Delhi to Patna on air.

The sources also said that Singh will be going along with the migrants on a certain flight to Patna on Thursday evening. It is quite commendable to witness an MP using the air tickets in a good way since he receives around 34 business class air tickets every year.

Chief Minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal appreciated Singh’s efforts during these times of crisis and praised him for his decision. He also said that this step would inspire and encourage others.

"Everyone will be inspired by this unique initiative of Sanjay Ji. Those whom God has given means, it is their responsibility to put their resources in the service of others. Sanjay Ji deserves to be congratulated," Kejriwal tweeted.

Sanjay Singh reacted to the comment by stating that when he set his foot into politics, his major vision and motto was to serve people and contribute to the nation.

"Thank you, Arvind Kejriwal Ji. These are the ideals with which we entered politics with you and I will try to follow them throughout my life,” He said on Twitter.

The lockdown induced by the deadly coronavirus had affected not only the economy on a large scale but also had a major devastating impact on the lives and income of migrant labourers and workers.
For more than two months, the migrants faced huge struggles, walking miles without food, water and proper shelter. Cycling through roads, scrambling into trains, buses and other local transport to reach their rural hometowns from the urban places.

More than four crore migrant workers have been involved by the Central government in various jobs throughout the country. And the Centre has managed to shift workers to their hometowns in trains or buses since the countrywide lockdown was announced
