While celebrities like Priyanka Chopra, Akshay Kumar and Alia Bhatt have shared do’s and don’ts by the BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), actors like Madhuri Dixit and Raveena Tandon wrote they were hopeful that the city would overcome the emergency situation.
Many like Nimrat Kaur and Harleen Sethi appealed to their audience to be kind to stray animals and those without a roof in such difficult times.
Music composer Sajid Khan took to Instagram on Tuesday to post a video of his brother Wajid playing the piano on his phone. Wajid Khan of music composer duo Sajid-Wajid passed away on Sunday.

Actor Randeep Hooda's debut film D completes 15 years today. Hooda remembered the 2005 film through an Instagram post.
D is a crime drama thriller and a sequel to Ram Gopal Varma directorial Company (2002). It was based on the D-Company that operates in Mumbai.
With Cyclone Nisarga making a landfall in Maharashtra and Gujarat, and Mumbai remaining on high alert, actor Sanjay Dutt took to Twitter to request people to stay indoors and not to spread rumours.Sanjay Dutt tweeted, "The next few hours are going to be critical. Actor Swara Bhaskar who has been facilitating the return of migrant workers stranded in Mumbai to reach their hometowns, took to social media to thank her team. Sharing on ground pictures, she wrote how she witnessed genuinely inspiring hard work by very diligent volunteers.

Karan Johar shared a video on Instagram talking about the importance of water conservation in the run up to the World Environment Day that falls on June 5.
In the video, Karan said, “What’s my one big wish for Earth? Well this is something that I have tried to implement with my children (Yash and Roohi) is – Water Conservation, preservation of water resources. We tend to take that for granted, we tend to misuse the power we have, the power of water.”
He added, “So, shut your taps, open your minds and make sure you conserve water which is a hugely critical and important resource for our beautiful planet Earth and lets make sure that we decide that our Earth is our home. Eventually, we all want to protect our homes. I am a Climate Warrior, are you?”
A relative of Nawazuddin Siddiqui has filed a sexual harassment complaint against the actor’s youngest brother Minazuddin Siddiqui at a police station in New Delhi.
According to the complainant, she was a minor when the alleged abuse happened for the first time, and it continued until three months before she got married in 2017.
In a telephonic conversation with indianexpress.com, the complainant said, “I was nine years old when Minazuddin chachu (uncle) started behaving weirdly with me. Priyanka also wrote, "#Cyclone Nisarga is making its way to Mumbai, my beloved home city of more than 20 million people, including my mom and brother. Mumbai hasn't experienced a serious cyclone landfall since 1891, and at a time when the world is so desperate, this could be especially devastating. This year feels relentless.
