The district cross-notified 29 patients to other districts.
Besides the 17 who were added to the Noida tally, a couple and their four-year-old son, residents of Sector 119, tested positive on Monday. They work at two news channels, both at Film City in Sector 16A, and had got themselves tested at a private lab in Delhi. “The man got the infection from a colleague and had mild cough and fever. The woman and child were asymptomatic. They declared their case status to the district health department,” said the maintenance manager of the society where they live.
They have been admitted to the isolation ward at Kailash Hospital in Greater Noida but the cases have not been added to the
Covid tally yet. The couple also has a full-time domestic staffer living with them, who will be tested.
