The number of positive cases of COVID19 detected has touched the 717 mark so far in Jharkhand. Coronavirus has now spread to all 24 districts of the state. Maximum number of cases being detected from Dhanbad, Koderma, East Singhbhum, Hazaribagh and Garhwa districts in the migrants. 486 positive cases have been detected amongst migrants who have returned to the state.
Although the State government has given few relaxations in Unlock 1 till June 30, Chief Minister Hemant Soren has asserted that relaxations can be rolled back after reviewing the current situation of growing COVID 19 cases.
The recovery rate of patients in Jharkhand has reduced to 45 percent. 299 patients have been discharged from hospitals after they recovered from the disease, while 5 people have died from Corona virus infection.
