Share market update: 24 stocks hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Around 24 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Tuesday's session.

Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Alchemist, Adani Green Energy, Alok Industries, Aurobindo Pharma, Biocon, Cipla, Divi's Laboratories , Dixon Technologies, Rajratan Global Wire and Ruchi Infrastructure.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 68.80 points up at 9894.95.

Overall, 34 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 16 were trading in red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Kotak Bank, Bajaj Finance, Zee Ent., Sun Pharma and Adani Ports SEZ were among top gainers.

While Coal India Ltd, SBI, JSW Steel, NTPC and BPCL were trading in red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 246.31 points up at 33549.83.
