Three coal mine workers killed in blasting mishap in Telangana's Peddapalli

The injured victims were shifted to hospital for treatment
HYDERABAD: Three coal mine workers died in a mishap in Singareni Collieries in Peddapalli in the state that occurred on Tuesday morning when the workers were conducting blasting at a site. Misfiring during the blasting resulted to the death of the workers.
According to the initial information available, bodies of the three workers were brought out of the mine. The condition of two more workers is said to be critical, reports indicated that they had also died.
According to sources, the victims belonged to a private company and were contract workers hired for blasting. The mishap took place in the open cast-1 mine. Another five workers were also reportedly injured due to the accident at Ramagiri mandal. The bodies of the victims who died were shifted to the local Godavarikhani hospital for post-mortem.
