Budget carrier Air Asia India is set to offer 50,000 free domestic tickets to doctors under ‘Air Asia Red Pass’ programme, an exclusive pass that enables them to get a one-way trip on any route of their choice.

The airline said, “This is a small way for us to show our gratitude for the many sacrifices made by our healthcare heroes.

“As part of this initiative, Air Asia India will give away 50,000 free seats without any base fare on flights across its domestic sectors to doctors as a gesture of gratitude for their commendable efforts in support of the nation.”

However, airport fees, charges, and statutory taxes should be borne by the traveller.

Under Red Pass, doctors can submit their contact details and desired sector and date of travel between July 1 and September 30 with their registration number or ID as proof on Air Asia’s website.

The applications are open until June 12. Details here.

Moreover, doctors will also get special privileges like priority boarding at the airport.

The Red Pass is valid for a one-way flight for the successful applicant doctors on the Air Asia India domestic network.
