Representative imageNAGPUR: Police units of Nagpur city and rural were kept on toes after two persons being murdered at separate incidents after Monday midnight.
In Nagpur city, 28-year-old Raju Dorle was clubbed with a stick and stabbed to death at Bhuteshwarnagar by two persons from neighbourhood following old rivalry. Kotwali police have taken the two persons in custody.
Senior inspector D Bhosale of Kotwali police station named Mukesh Narnaware and Ankit Chaturkar as the two identified accused in the case. "One had stuck Dorle on head while the other stabbed him leading to the death," said Bhosale.
In the rural, Raju Kashyap was stabbed to death by Viren alias Manya and his gang at Kanhan Khadan or open mines locality. It's learnt Kashyap had slapped Viren, a goon, few days back following a heated argument.
Kanhan police have registered an offence of murder against Viren and others.
