Period of ban extended on visiting hours in Jails

In order to prevent spread of Novel Coronavirus infection, the ban imposed on visiting hours to meet the prisoners has been extended till June 30. In this context, the Director General Jail and Reformative Services Shri Sanjay Chouwdhary has informed all the Jail Superintendents vide his letter that the period of ban imposed on the visiting hours of the families of the prisoners has been extended till June 30 to prevent spread of Coronavirus infection among them.
