The common man has suffered a major setback on the very first day of Lockdown 5.0 to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus Pandemic. Oil marketing companies of the country (HPCL, BPCL, IOC) have announced an increase in the prices of LPG Gas Cylinder (LPG Gas Cylinder) without subsidy. The price of 14.2 kg non-subsidized LPG cylinder became expensive by Rs 11.50 per cylinder in Delhi.

According to information received from IOCL website, 14.2 kg non-subsidized LPG cylinder has become costlier by Rs 11.50 in Delhi. After this it has been priced at Rs 593, which was earlier Rs 581.50. In Kolkata, its price has increased from Rs 584.50 to Rs 616, in Mumbai it has increased from Rs 579 to Rs 590.50. In Chennai, it was earlier Rs 569.50, which has become Rs 606.50 from today.


“For the month of June, 2020, there has been an increase in international prices of LPG. Due to increase in the prices in international market, the RSP (retail selling price) of LPG in Delhi market will be increased by Rs.11.50 per cylinder," IOC, India’s largest refiner, said in a late Sunday night statement.

19 kg cylinder price

The prices of 19 kg LPG LPG cylinders have also been increased, which have come into effect from June 1. A 19 kg LPG cylinder has become expensive by Rs 110 in Delhi. Earlier, the price of the gas cylinder was Rs 1029.50, which has increased to Rs 1139.50 from June 1.

Similarly, its prices have increased to Rs 1193.50 in Kolkata, Rs 1087.50 in Mumbai and Rs 1254.00 in Chennai.
