Hardik Pandya and fiancée Nataša Stanković are expecting their first child

It's official: the cricket pro and wife-to-be took to Instagram to announce that their family will be growing by one

Cricketer Hardik Pandya started off 2020 with a happy note, by getting engaged to  long-time girlfriend Nataša Stanković on New Year's Eve. And last evening, the sports pro took to social media to make another big announcement with his fans: the two are now expecting their first child together. Pandya shared a mini album of the couple on his official Instagram page with the message, “Natasa and I have had a great journey together and it is just about to get better. Together we are excited to welcome a new life into our lives very soon. We’re thrilled for this new phase of our life and seek your blessings and wishes.”

For their special occasion, the parents-to-be held a small ceremony at home, and were dressed in traditional Indian wear for the celebrations. As soon as the couple announced their good news, congratulatory messages started pouring in. Captain of the Indian cricket team and a close friend of Pandya, Virat Kohli was one of the first people to wish them, saying, “Congratulations to you both H. Lots of love and blessings for the 3rd member of your clan.”

Indian men's cricket team head coach Ravi Shatri was also among the first to share a reaction online, along with several other national team members including Mohammed Shami, Yuzvendra Chahal and Mayank Agarwal. Joining them in the congratulations are Sania Mirza, Guru Randhawa and Krystle D'souza.

During the lockdown, Hardik Pandya and wife-to-be Nataša Stanković have been keeping their fans entertained with witty cooking videos and their workout sessions together at home. Scroll ahead to check out some of their sweetest moments so far.
