Despite the decision of the West Bengal government to open all religious places from June 1, many temple committees and organizations of Imams have decided to remain closed. Apart from Belur Math located at Hooghly bank in Howrah, Dakshineswar Kali Temple in North 24-Parganas district and Tarapith Temple Committee in Birbhum district have decided to remain closed till June 15 for the present. On the other hand, the Imam's organization Bengal Imam Association has also appealed to keep the mosques closed for the time being. From June 8, 70 percent of the employees will be able to work in government offices instead of the current 50. The task of fixing the number of employees in private offices has been left to the management concerned. Hotels, shopping malls, and restaurants will also open in the state.
