Institutional quarantine only for Maharashtra returnees

Quarantine norms
Those who are found symptomatic on arrival will be sent to seven days of hospital isolation or health centre followed by seven days of home quarantine (based on the symptoms). They will also be tested immediately (if positive, they will be sent to dedicated COVID hospital).
Asymptomatic arrivals
Those coming from Maharashtra (without a Covid test in the last two days) will have to undergo seven days of institutional quarantine which will be followed by seven days of home quarantine. However, there will be exception in certain cases (like deaths in the family, pregnant women, children below age of 10, senior citizens). However, business travellers from Maharashtra have to show a confirmed return ticket within seven days and also should bring a Covid-negative certificate. If not, they have to be in institutional quarantine and undergo a test. Those who come with a COVID-negative result will directly undergo a 14-day home quarantine. Transit travellers from Maharashtra will be allowed to cross the state after their hands are stamped with "transit passengers".
Those coming from other states will undergo a mandatory home quarantine for 14 days. Business travellers from other states need not go for quarantine but have to produce their return tickets and there will be no hand stamping.
In BBMP limits, the officials will paste posters about home quarantine on doors and take phone numbers of the neighbours to keep a tab on them. A ward level team will be set up to manage quarantine people. A three-member squad will be in set up with association of resident welfare associations to keep a tab and a flying squad will be set up which will be empowered to file FIR against those violating quarantine norms.
