Passengers at Trichy central bus standTRICHY: After resuming bus services on Monday, Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) in Trichy district witnessed poor occupancy.
Transport and Trichy Corporation officials had appointed adequate staff at boarding points to screen passengers and provide hand sanitizers to them.

Around 150 mofussil buses connecting Thanjavur and Velankanni destinations, and 180 city buses between Central bus stand, Chathiram, Woraiyur and Thillai Nagar were operated on Monday.
