Three burnt alive in tractor inferno

Fire was caused by a spark falling on diesel leaking from the tractor
Rajkot: Three persons were burnt to death after the tractor in which they were travelling overturned and god engulfed in fire in Madhiya village on the outskirts of Bhavnagar on Saturday night.
Police that the fire was caused by a spark falling on diesel leaking from the tractor. According to police, it appears that the driver of the tractor lost control over the steering wheel, resulting in the accident. The tractor rolled by the road side and turned turtle into a giant pit.
“After it overturned, the tractor’s engine was still on and may have ignited a spark in the diesel that poured on the victims who were trampled under the vehicle. Soon, the fire turned into an inferno, charring the victims alive,” said I D Jadeja, sub-inspector with Velavadar police station.
The deceased were identified as Teja Vaghela (40), Jignesh Baraiya (18) and Bharat Makwana (35), all residents of Savainagar village near Bhavnagar. One Mahesh Vaghela escaped with minor injuries from the accident.
