FALL RIVER -- Police are investigating shots fired in at least two different locations in the city Monday morning.

Fall River Police Lt. Daniel Dube said Monday afternoon the case continues to be investigated but offered no additional information.

Earlier Monday, two police officers were standing guard in front of the Cozy Kettle restaurant at 366 Mariano Bishop Blvd. where seven yellow evidence markers were placed next to what appeared to be shell casings.

Up the street at the same time, more police officers were present around the neighborhood on Tucker Street. A detective and two other police officers were located near another yellow evidence marker.

Police scanner reports indicated the incidents occurred around 10:15 a.m.
