Mohena Kumari tested coronavirus positive with six other members of her family
On Sunday, Maharashtra government announced film and television shooting could resume in non-containment zones as a part of the relaxations that the state would undergo in June. All shoots were stalled on March 18, days before the nationwide lockdown was announced.
The state government issued a 16-page long set of guidelines for producers to follow as and when they begin film and television production. The guidelines include maintaining 33 per cent crew (which will not include the main cast) on set, all staff members to carry identification cards and Aarogya Setu app downloaded on their compatible devices, online auditions among more.
Talking about when the shoots could resume, a TV producer shared with indianexpress.com, “The producers will start applying for permission from their respective district administration. Some sets would also need repair. We would need to get the cast and crew ready, and also the scripts. Can’t give a date but we should roll out at the earliest following all SOPs.”

Web series Queen, starring Ramya Krishnan will now air on Zee TV. Loosely based on the life of the late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, Queen chronicles the life of Shakti Seshadri, a spirited and determined woman whose vision and sense of resilience made her an epitome of strength for many like-minded women.
Talking about the show, Ramya said in a statement, “I sensed a deep connection with the character on an emotional level, more so because her story speaks volumes of the plight of several women, yet gives them several reasons to rise against misogyny and prejudice. The character of Shakti represents hope and as an actor I have put my best foot forward to bring the role alive on the screen for the viewers. In fact, the character of Shakti is definitely one of my favourite ones and will always stay close to my heart. Talking about Queen, it is about the journey and the hardships that Shakti faced and how she overcame all odds as a strong and powerful woman in a man’s world. I feel it is a truly inspirational tale, one which everyone should watch in the current context!”
Starting June 6, Queen will air every weekend at 10:30 pm on Zee TV.

Mohena Kumari Singh and six other family members in her in-laws house have tested positive for coronavirus. All of them are currently recuperating at a hospital in Rishikesh.
The actor shared a post on Instagram thanking her fans and friends for all the good wishes. Posting it late at night, the Singh shared that she has not been able to sleep. And while it has been difficult for all of them at home, they are praying it gets over soon.
