NEW DELHI: Former chief executive of co-working company GoWork Sudeep Singh today said that he started a new asset management solutions company called MPowered.

Singh said that MPowered is a ‘space-as-a-service’ platform that helps landlords turn their property into revenue-generating assets.

The company also has a brand called ‘Powered by M’, which is managed real estate, either as co-working or co-living spaces, while ‘MGage’ is a tool that is meant to manage work spaces efficiently.

Speaking of the venture, Singh, who is co-founder and chief executive of the new venture said, “The real estate industry in India has been consistently transforming itself over the past few years, to adopt new-age concepts and stay relevant. MPowered is an attempt to further reinvent and upgrade India’s real estate landscape through organised asset management solutions, for those who have the real estate but lack the expertise to build successful business models and manage it.”

The company said it will cater to property owners, property brokers, large independent organisations as well as small to mid-sized businesses and startups, said Singh. The company will offer solutions in hospitality spaces, warehousing spaces, educational institutions and facility management.

"Asset management companies only focus on Grade A assets. We plan to help bring Grade B and Grade C assets to the A grade level in terms of look and feel, fire safety etc," he said. Singh said the Covid-19 pandemic is an opportunity for new businesses and business models.
