Taking a major decision once again, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has given relief to farmers, industries and domestic consumers till June 30 in payment of electricity bills. Under this, instructions were given not to cut any electricity connection till June 30 if electricity bills are not paid.
Earlier, CM Gehlot had announced a relief to farmers, industries and domestic consumers in the payment of electricity bills on 2 April till 31 May due to the Corona epidemic. Earlier, the Narendra Modi government of the Center has increased the scope of exemption in Lockdown 5.0 by issuing new guidelines. The central government has released a new guideline from June 1 to 30.
However, the Ashok Gehlot government has not taken any decision regarding the exemption given in Rajasthan during this period. The state government can take some kind of decision on this today. However, it is expected that the state government may take a decision to open a memorial located outside the container from June 1.
