The Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) gave several discounts during #Unlock1 on Saturday and also said that schools, colleges, educational / training/coaching institutes would be opened after consultation with states and union territories.
The MHA said that based on the feedback from the states and union territories, a decision would be taken to reopen these institutions in July.
The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) will prepare SOP for these institutions, "said MHA in a release." In the second phase, schools, colleges, educational / training/coaching institutes, etc. will be consulted with states and union territories. Will be opened after State Governments / Union Territory Administrations will be called for meetings and advice in schools with parents and other stakeholders. Based on the feedback, a decision will be taken on the reopening of these institutions in July. .
MHA said that in Phase # Unlock 1, shrines and places of worship for the public, hotels, restaurants, and other hospitality services, and shopping malls will be allowed to open from June 8.
The MHA stated, "The guidelines will come into effect from June 1, 2020, and remain in effect until June 30, 2020. In the current phase of reopening, Unlock 1 will have an economic focus."
The country is under the fourth phase of the lockdown which will continue till 31 May. The lockdown was first implemented in March to stop the spread of COVID-19.
