What we know so far about Gwynedd beach emergency
A female has been flown to hospital following an emergency on a Gwynedd beach.
She was airlifted to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor after emergency services were called to the beach at Abererch, near Pwllheli, on Sunday afternoon.

Police 'not aware of incident'
Police said they are “not aware” of the incident.
Coastguard
Criccieth Coastguard said they were called out to “an incident” tonight.
They said:
Criccieth Mobile 1 & Mobile 2 called out to an incident tonight , no details will be given..”
It is likely they are referring to the beach incident.
No details on woman's condition
No details have been released on the woman’s condition at the moment.
Officials are also not yet saying what the nature of the incident was.
Welsh Ambulance Service statement
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said:
We had a call to a female on the beach at 4.39pm.
“We sent two ambulances, a helicopter and a doctor was also at the scene.
“The woman was conveyed to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor.”
