
Wajid Khan of Bollywood music composer duo Sajid-Wajid passed away on Sunday in Mumbai. He was 42.
Wajid along with brother Sajid made their debut as music directors with Salman Khan’s Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya. They went on to compose music for several Salman movies like Hello Brother, Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge, Garv, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Partner, God Tussi Great Ho, Wanted, Main Aurr Mrs Khanna, Veer and Dabangg (1, 2 and 3) among more.
Wajid Khan also crooned songs like Soni De Nakhre, Jalwa, Hud Hud Dabangg and Chinta Ta Ta Chita Chita.

Singer, music directors, actors and filmmakers took to social media to pay tribute to Wajid.
Abhishek Bachchan took to Twitter to express his grief over the loss of Wajid Khan. "Rest in harmony my friend. Had the pleasure of working with both Sajid-Wajid most loving and brilliant. My condolences to his family and especially Sajid," the actor tweeted.
Remembering Wajid Khan, Amit Trivedi wrote on Twitter, "Wonderful composer, wonderful human being Wajid bhai gone too soon. deeply saddened to hear this. may god give strength to his family and friends"

Tollywood music composer Devi Sri Prasad is "shocked & deeply saddened by the news of the sudden demise of Wajid Khan." He wrote, "Gone too soon :( May his Soul Rest in Peace. My heartfelt condolences to his family. May God give strength to the family."
