146 Covid-19 positive cases and 4 deaths in Thane

THANE: The city recorded four deaths and 146 Covid-19 positive cases in single-day on Friday.
Out of the four deaths that were recorded three were men and one was a woman. The four patients were in the age group of 40 to 72 years and they were taking treatment at the state-run Thane Civil hospital
While the death toll now is 79 patients the city so far has recorded around 2750 positive patients.
Meanwhile, around nine police officials from Thane police commissionerate (Thane, Bhiwandi, Kalyan etc.) who recovered from the Covid-19 infection were discharged on Friday.
So far from the Thane police commissionerate around 15 police officers and 121 officials (including staff and constables) have been tested Covid-19 positive. Out of these five officers and 50 officials are suffering from the infection and taking treatment, while 80 have got discharged.
