- The man allegedly abducted the girl and raped her over a period of four hours
A teenager was allegedly abducted and sexually assaulted for four hours on her way home from school.
The girl was walking along Meola Road in Auckland about 2pm on Wednesday when she was approached by a strange man in a dark coloured station wagon.
The man believed to be aged in his 50s then allegedly abducted the schoolgirl and proceeded to rape her over a period of four hours.
She was later found near the St Lukes shopping mall.

Police are investigating the incident and are warning students to walk in groups and to not wear headphones if alone.
They have also placed a police car near the school for the past two mornings.
'The incident is reported to have happened in Western Springs,' a police statement read, NZ Herald reported.

'Police are investigating with the victim and her family to understand the circumstances.
'As the investigation is in its early stages, police are not in a position to give any further details.'
The alleged incident comes just two days after another student was approached by a man in a car before driving off.
Police do not believe the incidents are related.
