IND-SAT May 30 exam postponed due to Covid-19, revised dates expected soon

NEW DELHI: The Ministry of Human Resource and Development (MHRD) has postponed the IND-SAT May 30 examination due to ongoing coronavrius crisis across the globe.
The Union Cabinet Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal, in an tweet, informed that the IND-SAT 2020 exam which was scheduled to be held on May 30, 2020, has been postponed. The revised exam dates for IND-SAT 2020 examination is expected to be announced soon.
Indian Scholastic Assessment or IND-SAT is a standardized test is conducted for Asian and African students for scholarships to 'Study in India'. The test was scheduled to be conducted across these countries - Bangladesh, Bhutan, Ethiopia, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mauritius, Nepal, Rwanda, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia.
The union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman had introduced the IND-SAT examination in her Union Budget speech on February 1.
The IND-SAT paper is set in English medium consisting of multiple-choice objective questions. The total duration of the exam is 90 minutes. The question paper is divided into three categories - Verbal, Quantitative and Logical Reasoning.

Verbal Reasoning: Reading comprehension, Fill in the blanks, Grammar, Paragraph completion and inference, Parajumbles, Analogies, Antonyms, Synonyms, One-word substitution, Sentence correction, Idioms & Phrases.
Quantitative Aptitude: Algebra, Averages, Equations - Linear & Quadratic, Geometry, HCF & LCM, Number System, Partnership, Percentages, Progressions - Arithmetic, Geometry, Profit and Loss, Ratios and Proportions, Time-Speed-Distance, Work and Time, Interest.
Logical Reasoning: Seating Arrangements, Blood Relations, Direction sense, Series/Sequencing, Syllogism, Venn diagrams, Rankings, Puzzles, Coding & Decoding.
