FIR against temple trustee on lockdown

KALYAN: An FIR was filed against a trustee of a Jain mandir in Dombivli for allegedly defying the lockdown. The temple at Bhopar recently provided accommodation to 35 sadhus, who came from Mumbai.
Local residents alerted police about their presence, when they learnt that they came from Mumbai, which is badly affected by Covid-19, fearing that they would be infected and spread it in the area. Manpada police station senior inspector Dadahari Choure said they had informed the civic body.
