While a few movies will premiere on streaming platforms like Amazon Prime Video, the high-budget films will only release in theaters. It is yet to be known when movies like Master, Marakkar Arabikadalinte Simham among more will see the light of day.

Production house KJR Studios, who is bankrolling two upcoming Sivakarthikeyan movies, have asked his fans to remain patient regarding updates. In a tweet, the banner has said that though it is easy to ask for updates, it’s not that simple. They went on to reassure fans and said, “Waiting for lockdown to be over to resume production & post production of #Doctor & #Ayalaan.” Sivakarthikeyan, who was last seen in Hero, was busy filming Doctor and Ayalaan before the lockdown was announced.
Telangana cinematography minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Thursday donated groceries to cine workers through his Talasani Seva Trust in Hyderabad. SS Rajamouli, Nagarjuna, Trivikram and Dil Raju among others were present at the event.

After the announcement of the Hindi remake of Ayyappanum Koshiyum, rumour mills are abuzz that real-life brothers Suriya and Karthi will team up for the Tamil remake of the hit Malayalam film. The original movie starred Prithviraj Sukumaran and Biju Menon in the lead roles.
