GSEB SSC Result: Gujarat 10th results 2020 likely in first half of June
Image used for representational purpose only AHMEDABAD: After declaring class 12 results for science students on May 17, the Gujarat education board is yet to finalise a date for declaring results for SSC as well as for HSC (general stream) exams. Looking at the staff crunch issues faced by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB), these results will only be declared in June now, said sources in the education department. The board is trying its best to declare the results by mid June, sources added.
The board issued a statement after fake messages regarding the Gujarat class 12 result announcement date went viral on social media.
The GSHSEB clarified that, when finalised, the board will post the result announcement date on its official website.
In a press release, the Board authorities have appealed students, teachers, and school authorities not to believe baseless information.
GSHSEB announced the class 12 (Science) results on May 17, 2020. The Gujarat HSC (Science) results were made available on its official website. The overall pass percentage of GSEB Science result recorded at 71.34%. About 1.6 lakh students had appeared for the exam.
This year, Gujarat Board exam results have been delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown.
Earlier, a photoshopped a copy of the official announcement changed the date to May 19 and replaced Class XII Science stream with Class XII general stream went viral on social media and had created a lot of chaos.
