Turbulence in air, passengers fly into a rageChaos and confusion continued the second day after domestic flight operations resumed at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) thanks to lastminute cancellations by airlines. Many passengers, who made a long journey to RGIA early on Tuesday had to return home after they were informed that their flights had been cancelled only after reaching the airport.

At Vijayawada International Airport, operations started with the arrival of a Spice-Jet flight at 7.20 am, carrying 79 passengers from Bengaluru. The airport handled four arrivals and four departures on Tuesday, while adhering to Covid-19 protocols. IndiGo operated two services between Vijayawada-Chennai and Vijayawada-Bengaluru. Air India operated a flight from Vijayawada to New Delhi.
