Police are reviewing an anti-Welsh rant launched by a woman after she was escorted from a North Wales beach.
North Wales Police are looking into Facebook comments made by a woman who was told to leave Barmouth Beach before describing the Welsh as a "bunch of b*******".
The woman, who is understood to have travelled more than 100 miles from the West Midlands to Barmouth with her children on Wednesday, also admitted she "didn't realise Wales wasn't in England".
When two police officers asked her to leave the beach, she did not appear to understand the Welsh lockdown rules, claiming she was within her rights to be there because “Boris Johnson said that you can”.
Later that day, she took to social media again, posting a foul-mouthed rant about Wales, and admitted she did not realise Wales and England were two separate countries.

Now, police have said they are looking into the social media statements made.
Temporary Assistant Chief Constable Nigel Harrison said: “The officers acted exactly as expected in a calm and professional manner, protecting the local community.
"I am aware comments that would have appeared to have been posted by one of the offenders after the incident, had derogatory, abusive and racist tones.
"As such, they will be reviewed for criminality.
"We look forward to welcoming her back to Wales to further discuss this when the regulations are relaxed."
In a video she recorded herself and then shared on social media, she asked one of the officers: “You’re telling me it’s illegal to be at this beach when Boris Johnson said that you can?”
Despite the officer informing her that the rules in Wales are different to those in England, she replied: “So which beach can I go to today?”
After the officer explained that she was in breach of the Welsh Government’ s travel regulations by crossing the English border into Wales, she said: “That’s 100 per cent that is? I’ve been here three times before.”
Writing on social media later that day, she said: "I was ignorant. I didn't realise Wales wasn't in England.
"Fully understand I was in the wrong. See I admit when I f*** up.
“But tomorrow we going to an English beach.
“F*** you Wales you bunch of b*******. No f***er was even there locals lined up waiting.”
New rules in England allow people to enjoy unlimited exercise, sunbathe, picnic and drive to beauty spots in the country as long as they respect social distancing guidance and return home the same day.
However, people in England have been warned against visiting the coastline in other parts of the UK, including Wales, where different lockdown rules apply and the message remains to "stay home".
