Police have pledged to take "robust action" against bikers who have been ripping up fence posts and putting animals in danger.
North Wales Police said they would be carrying out extra patrols in the Pont y Blew area of Chirk following a spate of "anti-social behaviour and criminal damage".
They said incidents, which have been putting animals in danger, were especially taking place on the weekends.
Police said fence posts on private land have been ripped up by groups of people trying to get access for bikes to ride across fields to the river Ceiriog.
Gates have also been left open allowing cows to walk into fields covered in slurry which can be dangerous for animals, they said.
PC Angela Faulkner said: “We have had groups of people, some coming from Oswestry and other parts of Shropshire travelling to the Pont y Blew area, behaving anti- socially, damaging fences and entering fields.
"This land is private and no access is allowed.
“We will be patrolling the area and will take robust action against anyone responsible for anti-social and abusive behaviour or criminal damage.”
